Hi! I’m Sofia. I turn stories into ads people remember.

My career in advertising began with a passion for writing. I’ve had poetry published in Scholastic’s Best Teen Writing and received national and regional recognition for my short tales and poems. Today, I bring that same creativity to the world of advertising. Some recent examples include crafting a full-fledged campaign for Diamonds Direct and the Horatio Alger Association, selling newspaper ads to local Gainesville businesses and campus departments, and managing social media content for small businesses to help them grow their presence.

I’m an ENFP who thrives on connection and collaboration. I’m naturally outgoing and energized by interacting with people. My birthday falls the day before Halloween, and as a Scorpio, I’ve been told I embody the description pretty well (I’ll take that as a compliment).

In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, biking, and baking banana bread. My favorite color is green, inspired by my love for nature walks and forest trails. I’m a big fan of chicken sandwiches and firmly believe Gainesville’s best is at Germain’s. I love reading fiction and absolutely love watching sci-fi and action films. I’ve watched all 25 James Bond movies and consider The Great British Bake Off my comfort show. I’m fluent in Russian, have a 14-letter last name, and was an early adopter of Instagram Reels back in 2022. And yes, full transparency, my current LinkedIn profile photo is from my high school prom photoshoot, which I’m aware may be overdue for an update.
